  9. Chaining - A method of attaching programmers to desks to speed
  10.         up output.
  11.  
  12. Checkpoint - The location from which a programmer must forget
  13.         in order to be successful.
  14.  
  15. Core Storage - A receptacle for the center section of apples.
  16.  
  17. Counter - A device over which martinis are served.
  18.  
  19. Disassembler - An unattended five year old child.
  20.  
  21. Error - What someone else has made when he disagrees with your
  22.         computer output.
  23.  
  24. External Storage - A wastebasket.
  25.  
  26. Fixed Word Length - Four-letter words used by programmers in a
  27.         state of confusion.

  29. Floating Control - A characteristic exhibited when you have to
  30.         go to the restroom but cannot leave the computer.
  31.  
  32. Floating Point - The absolute limit before floating control
  33.         is lost.
  34.  
  35. Flow Chart - A graphic representation of the fastest route to
  36.         the restroom.
  37.  
  38. Input - Food, whiskey, beer, asprin, etc.

  40. Macro - The last half of an expression of surprise:
  41.                         "Holy Macro".

  43. Memory Dump - Amnesia.
  44.  
  45. Programmer - A red-eyed, mumbling mammal capable of conversing
  46.         with inanimate opjects.
